  1. A Bit About Me

  1. What I Do

  1. My Principles

A Bit About Me

I’m a product designer from Leeds in the U.K., now in Berlin. I’ve been making things for as long as I can remember, from a Lego obsession as a child, Sim City as a teen, and through it all I was never far from paint, pencils, and plasticine.

That interest in creating took led to me study design in the early 00s via a Multimedia Technology degree with ambitions of directing music videos. That didn’t happen, but interfaces and code did. I built on the skills I picked up and taught HTML and CSS, landed my first design job within a year, and haven’t stopped since - agencies, big companies, tiny start-ups, freelance, and full-time employee.

Outside work: family time, walks with my little Greek dog, playing guitar, far too many podcasts, and the emotional toil of supporting Leeds United Football Club 🦚⚪🔵🟡

I’d pride myself on being a hands-on, all-round designer who likes taking things from the messy, undefined problem right through to something real in a user’s hand. I enjoy working with a team to really understand the issue, explore the solutions, then commit to building something that adds up to a better outcome for all.

My career has taken me across industries and company setups - often joining at awkward, transitional moments where the “ideal” way of working isn’t the reality.

What I Do

/ Don't over-solve

/ Small steps for big changes

/ Action over endless discussion

/ Embrace limitations

/ Remember the "why"

/ Ownership = investment

/ Be nice. No bullshit, no politics

/ Don't over engineer

/ Action over discussion

/ Embrace limitations

/ Ask "why?"

/ Ownership = investment

/ Be nice & no bullshit

My Principles

Shall we talk?

Shall we talk?

Shall we talk?

So, if you think we could work together on building something then just get in touch via email or my LinkedIn 😌
